We are looking for our client, a well-established SME in Montreal, a full-time Accounting Technician.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, our future colleague will be called upon to:
around 70% on the accounting part
Perform bookkeeping up to financial statements for an associated and separate company;
Perform bank reconciliations and process accounting entries and balancing of vacations;
Balance the budgeted payroll against the amounts actually paid;
Prepare and analyze statistical, financial and accounting reports;
Collaborate with employees of the finance department in the stages of the accounting process.

Process payroll for all branches and head office;
Perform and ensure the entry of employee files (hiring, termination, salary changes);
Respond to various government requests (Service Canada, CNESST);
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll;
Prepare the issuance of records of employment and T4;
Collaborate with the Human Resources team, according to operational needs
DEP / DEC in accounting;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting / payroll position;
Ability with the Employer D platform, an asset;
Comfortable with the MS Office suite.
