Your missions

We are currently working with a Quebec-based company in the food industry. The Accounting Technician participates in various tasks related to the analysis and validation of complex deductions related to the clients' agreements that are assigned to him/her. He/she analyzes and prepares the supporting documents required to process the files under his/her responsibility. He/she performs, at each month, quarter and year end, the operations required to account for and produce the computerized and/or manual reports necessary for the proper functioning of operations.

Key Activities:
Participate in the input of customer deduction data into our systems;
Analyze complex deductions from assigned customers and performs processing;
Prepare analysis of program expense reports and make adjustments and/or payments as required;
Prepare documentation to support the payment of agreements to clients;
Manage departmental documents (virtual and/or physical);
Participate in the validation, documentation and coding of customer discrepancies in our systems;
Analyze and follow up on customer discrepancies;
Analyze and follow up on audits;
Enter customer allocations (promotional agreements) in our systems according to company policies;
Prepare customer business reviews and other ad hoc analyses to support other departments;
Prepare end of period analyses (month, quarter, year);
Participate in all other tasks inherent to the position or deemed necessary to complete the position.

Your profile

DEC in accounting (or other related field) with 2 years experience or BAC in accounting;
Fluency in French and English, both oral and written (mandatory);
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment (Excel Advanced), having worked with the AS400 integrated management system applications (asset);
Demonstrate rigor, analytical skills, team spirit and positive attitude.
