Our client, a manufacturing company, is currently offering an excellent career opportunity for an Accounts Payable Technician.
Your responsabilities are:
Prepare cheque requisitions from different departments;
Follow-up on various contracts such as rent, municipal taxes, etc.;
Prepare and process replenishments of some bank accounts;
Prepare and process payroll department requests;
Weekly cash-flow preparation;
Weekly foreign currency payments preparation;
Involved in month-end closing;
Quarterly preparation of balances to be paid for Intercos Companies;
Enter foreign currency rates in the system at month-end;
Weakly preparation and reconciliation of journal entries for expenses via the Concur platform;
Produce expense reports on request for different departments;
Enter and update contracts in the Tagetik platform;
Encoding and data entry;
Matching supporting documentation (through the system);
Resolve accounts payable problems with various locations and the department;
Other related duties.
Do you think this job is for you? It just might be the case if you have:
DCS, accounting option or equivalent;
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar or equivalent position;
Strong analytical skills, energetic, detail-oriented, resourceful, ability to recognize priorities and to work under pressure and within a team;
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
