Reporting to the Director, Credit - Retail, your role will be, among other things, to be responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts (retailers) by analyzing accounts, making credit applications and implementing collection strategies. when required.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of a credit officer - retail are to:
Responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts (retailers).
Call to perform collection.
Release the controls.
Analyze and reconcile accounts.
Open customer accounts.
Perform credit inquiries.
Review customer accounts.
Follow up on customer complaints.
Work in collaboration with the sales team.
Hold a college diploma (DEC) in administration or have a combination of a relevant diploma and 5 years of experience in a similar job.
Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (particularly Outlook, Excel and Word).
Bilingualism (French and English) both written and spoken
Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processing
Knowledge of AS400 and/or JD Edwards (JDE) systems (an asset)
