Your missions

Hello, I am Jinane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company located in Vaudreuil, for a Financial Analyst. This is a permanent position on site.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the completion of the annual plan, including:

Develop and maintain budget and expenditure forecast models.
Determine information needs.
Develop input and report formats.
Analyze results and coordinate changes through the management committee.
Coordinate information exchange with the corporate office and other divisions.
Work with the director of finance to prepare presentations.
Issue the final plan with detailed justifications, as well as the planning book and cost book.
Actively participate in the preparation of the strategic plan and forecasts.

Participate as a financial member in the capital allocation request process to assess the financial viability of potential new capital projects.

Collaborate as a member of project teams to provide financial data, profitability analyses, and cost analyses to facilitate business decisions.

Produce standard and ad-hoc reports providing financial data to support management and gain better insight into the decision-making process.

Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting closure process regarding the above responsibilities.

Improve, automate, and streamline internal processes for efficiency.

Analyze and monitor inventory write-offs and obsolescence provision.

Perform any other tasks required by the immediate supervisor.

Your profile

Think this job is for you? It might be the case if you have:

-Bachelor's (BAC) or Master's degree in finance or accounting.
-Holding the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset.
-Five to ten years of experience in finance or accounting.
-Proficiency in MS-OFFICE applications (with advanced knowledge of EXCEL).
-Bilingualism (French/English) is essential.
-Willingness to work overtime during budgetary and forecasting periods.
-Ability to critically assess and address issues head-on for resolution.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
-Influencing skills to work with all hierarchical levels in the organization.
-Good interpersonal communication skills.
