Your missions

The main responsibilities of the job title are:
• Prepare various reconciliations of general ledger accounts, prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial analyzes and explain variances.
• Participate in the testing of controls on the company's operational processes required by Law 52-109 for public companies and by external auditors in collaboration with other team members.
• Validate the monthly trial balances and specific accounts of certain divisions of the group which operate on different accounting systems from the rest of the whole group
• Participate in the process of integrating new acquisitions.
• Answer questions from the management team and operational teams regarding the analyzes produced and the internal financial statements.
• Execute all the verification and follow-up process relating to gross margin and inventory control (inventory adjustment, write-off, claims against suppliers, end-of-month analysis, etc.) for certain Richelieu distribution centers
• Follow up and obtain explanations from the operational teams on the various elements to be analyzed
• Produce, verify and post to the general ledger the required adjusting entries.
• Accounting, verifying, analyzing specific expenses incurred and ensuring the application of internal controls.
• Accomplish all other related tasks at the request of his immediate super

Your profile

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a combination of certificate and relevant experience.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and month-end closing in a large company operating several different sites and legal entities.
• Have experience working with an ERP tool, such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, etc.
• Excellent command of Excel and good command of the MS Office suite.
• Bilingualism (written and spoken)
