Your missions

Analyst – Management Accounting
Reporting to the Manager – Management Accounting, the Management Accounting Analyst will play a key role in the following areas, for Systems:

Establishment of the cost price;
Reconciliation of the raw material;
Cost analysis;
Inventory control;
Participate in the implementation of the management accounting module in the current ERP.
The management accounting analyst will work with various stakeholders within the company. He will have to ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and the accuracy of the financial information communicated in the monthly reports. The place of work is the head office of Boucherville. Some of the tasks may be carried out by telework (to be determined at the time of taking office):



Management accounting :

Reconciliation of monthly sales;
Support in establishing cost prices for manufactured products;
Support in the calculation of costs for special projects;
Verification of the profitability of products/customers/sectors;
Calculation of the consumption of raw materials at standard and actual;
Analysis of consumption gaps;
Analyze current costs and explain variances with budget and previous periods;
Make recommendations related to month-end analyses.


Inventory management:

Valuation of inventories at the end of the month (quantity + price);
Ensure the accuracy of inventory transactions in the system (consumption of raw materials, transfers, etc.);
Analysis of inventory discrepancies and implementation of recommendations;
Analysis of inter-company transactions;
Preparation and participation in physical counts (cyclical, monthly and annual);
Ensure maintenance and development of processes and internal control related to inventories.
Others :

Participate in the preparation of internal and external audit files;
Preparation and entry of adjustment entries;
Participation in the preparation of the annual budget;
Participation in project groups (eg R&D, continuous improvement, ERP implementation).

Skills
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent knowledge of the office suite including an advanced Excel level (essential)
Proficiency with computer tools

Knowledge of Epicor ERP (asset) or another ERP (essential)
Knowledge of Power BI (asset)
