My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.
I am looking for an assistant controller for my client in the restaurant business. You will assisting the controller on the full accounting cycle. This is a permanent position, hybrid 2 days at home.
− Perform monthly bank reconciliations
− Prepare the end of the month and assist in the preparation of end-of-year files
− Prepare and analyze financial statements periodically and annually
− Prepare monthly adjustment entries for accrued expenses, depreciation,
expenses paid in advance, debts, accruals accounts
− Monthly GST/QST declarations
− Reconcile inter-company accounts
− Perform all other related tasks.
Characteristics sought in the candidate:
- Holder of a technical qualification with 5 years of experience and/or a BAC in accounting
with 2 years of experience;
- Good computer skills (Excel, accounting software (Acomba and
- Impeccable command of French (both written and spoken);
- Dynamism and interpersonal skills;
