o Overall responsibility to provide prompt, accurate and complete accounting.
o Interact with the Controller to lead month-end / quarter-end closing activities.
o Proceed with the month and year-end closure
o Preparation of monthly financial statements and end-of-year files (Financial analyzes
o Participate in finalizing the implementation of the ERP system as well as formatting the tools for this
o Perform follow-ups as well as make the various government declarations;
o Collaborator with the controller on various accounting tasks
o Check the month-end entries (depreciation, prepaid expenses, GST / QST, etc.)
o Support to the controller in his daily tasks
o Participating in the production of payroll;
o Make bank reconciliations;
o Contribute to the approval and disbursement of expenses;
o Follow up on work in progress and send requests to the people concerned
o Identifying accounts receivable at risk and proposing an action plan for them;
o Account for customer payments;
o Preparation of reports and dashboards
o Collect data relevant to the analysis of results;
o (Accrued charges, provisions, vacation banking, leases, allocations, reclassifications,
preparation of sales tax, journal entries, etc.).
o Manage inter-company transactions
o Bachelor's degree in accounting, recognized accounting designation an asset;
o Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
o Supervisory experience;
o Proficiency in Excel software (advanced level);
o Experience with the Primmo / Hopem system, an asset;
o Experience in the payroll process, an asset;
o Ability to work under minimal supervision
o Good interaction with colleagues
