We are looking for our client, a growing company in the West Island of Montreal, an Assistant Controller who will be comfortable generating all financial reports for senior management. This candidate should be comfortable analyzing balance sheets and income statements in order to forecast revenue and keep track of accounts payable and receivable. Experience in a manufacturing environment would be a great asset.
-Full Accounting cycle
-Generate monthly financial statements and reports for senior leadership
-Post journal entries, review all relevant financial information
-Monitor and analyze balance sheets, expenses, accounts payable and accounts receivable
-Perform full weekly payroll cycle, deductions at source
-Manage the company's Group Insurance and Group RRSP programs
-Assist in preparation of annual budgets
-Support Controller in all financial and administrative matters of the organization
-Monitor taxes and provide details for audits
-Generate Sales Commission Reports
-File monthly consumption taxes (GST/QST)
-Track all Capital Expenditures and SR&ED related expenses

-Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant field
-2 to 5 years of experience in accounting
-Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
-Very good command of the Microsoft Office suite
