Your missions
My name is Marian Babin, Director of Recruitment Fed Finance for the Greater Montreal area, and I'm looking for an Auditor for an accounting firm based in Montreal.
Compilation mandates
Conduct review engagements
Prepare financial statements
Adjust audit notes with quality control
Collaborate with a manager or partner in the planning of mandates
Develop system tests
Make recommendations to improve clients' accounting practices
Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
Meet with clients to explain their personal tax returns and for signature
Communicate with associates, managers and colleagues, as well as with
clients
Supervise the work of junior or intermediate auditors in the execution of major review engagements
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in accounting or DESS
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in an accounting firm
Professional designation acquired or in process of acquisition
Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards
Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Acomba
Proficiency in CaseWare, CaseView, Tax Prep (an asset)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Sense of responsibility
Attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to communicate with customers
Time management and respect for deadlines
