Our client, an important firm located in Downtown Montreal is looking for a Billing Coordinator

Your missions

The incumbent will report to the Billing Manager and will be responsible for producing the monthly invoices for the lawyers, passing them on to the clients and following up on them. He or she will also have daily tasks of an administrative nature in addition to providing impeccable customer service, both internally and externally.

responsibilities
Provide direct assistance to lawyers in billing their fees to clients;
Prepare, review, modify and finalize pro forma invoices and invoices;
Ensuring that the content of the billing documents complies with the firm's grammar rules and standards;
Ensure invoices are in the appropriate language for the client;
Ensure compliance with hourly rate agreements and applicable discounts for each client;
Ensure that the taxes indicated on the invoices are applicable;
Carry out the necessary follow-up with the lawyers and obtain their approval;
Transmit invoices and vouchers to clients by mail, email or upload;
Provide billing follow-up with lawyers, clients and the accounting team;
Perform any other task entrusted to him.

Your profile

Have experience with a time entry or billing system used in professional settings;
Proficiency in English and French, both oral and written;
Strong interest in analysis and numbers
Excellence in customer service
Sense of organization and priorities, rigor and concern for quality;
Ability to handle multiple files at once;
Lively, resourceful, versatile and flexible;
Autonomy and team spirit;
Communication and relational ease;
Great discretion.
