To support the growth of the firm, we are looking for a Bookkeeper. Within this canadian company, you are responsible for:
General bookkeeping from transactional recordings through to the preparation of internal financial statements, (operating companies and investment entities);
Processing of payments;
General correspondence and filing;
Administrative and organizational duties;
Preparation of personal tax returns;
Preparation of Bank reconciliations A/R and A/P;
Calculation, reporting and filing of GST/QST reports, payroll and DAS and issues related thereto.
Complete month end closings;
Ability to travel to clients on a regular basis.
College diploma in related field;
3 years of experience in a similar position;
Prior experience working with accounting software (QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Writeup, Acc Pac and others);
Experience with multi-currency and multi-company accounting;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English);
Proven organizational skills;
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
