Your missions
Under the supervision of the Head of Credit, Collection and Collections, the incumbent of the position of collection technician is responsible for processing payments received from customers and entering them into the AS400 computer system.
The incumbent is also responsible for bank reconciliation, journal entries and provides support to the collection and accounting departments for collection-related issues.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform activities related to the collection of payments by check, direct deposit and credit card.
Perform the reconciliation of cash receipts with bank deposits, on a daily basis.
Perform accounts receivable adjustments and journal entries.
Perform journal entries for bad debt write-offs.
Participate in various process improvement projects.
Perform any other tasks related to these functions, as required.
Your profile
DEC or Diploma of professional studies in administration or accounting.
