Your missions

- Daily bank reconciliation
- Prepare tax remittances: GST-HST, TVQ
- Make certain end-of-month adjustment entries (depreciation, prepaid expenses, etc.)
- Control the cost of inventory through the entry of material receipts into the accounting system and the maintenance of an external price list.
- Make all journal entries not executed by accounts payable and accounts receivable
• GST/HST -QST payment
• Tax installments
• All pre-authorized payments
• Apply inter-company payments in accounts
• Bank fees
- Assist in the reconciliation and registration of MasterCards
- Collection support in participation in the process put in place to accelerate collections in order to continually improve cash flow
- Assist with annual audit work: Preparation of documents requested by the auditors
- Assist in the preparation of budgets
- Assist with end of month construction accounting entries (WIP, % complete, etc.)
- Prepare and assist in the analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
- Post payroll entries
- Prepare payroll statements

Financial analyzes
- Analysis of accounts
- Prepare turnover analysis files
• Analysis by activity
• Analysis by customers
• Analysis by region
- Prepare the weekly report of project costs and revenues
- Prepare certain analysis sheets upon request
- Preparation of CCQ and CNESST letters at the end of the project
- Import hours into Maestro to assign project costs.

Your profile

Academic training
- University degree in finance or accounting
- CPA designation obtained or in progress, an asset
Experience, skills and abilities
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
- Bilingual (French and English, oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills and good priority management
- Great attention to detail, a problem solver
- Excellent IT knowledge of the Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vertical searches)
- Knowledge of Nethris, Maestro or other similar software, an asset
