Your missions
Your main resposibilities:
✓ Handle autonomously bookkeeping (mainly investments), adjustment entries and financial statement drafts.
✓ Fill tax returns for individuals (T1) and certain corporations (T2).
✓ Prepare T4 and T5 slips, GST/HST, DAS returns.
✓ Under the revision of a senior accountant, carry out compilations and certain sections of engagement reviews.
✓ Understand client needs, particularities, and best practices in terms of organizing client files.
✓ Occasionally communicate with government agencies.
✓ All related tasks.
Your profile
Your profile :
✓ Bachelor's degree in accounting, accounting science or equivalent training.
✓ 10 years of experience in general accounting in an accounting firm.
✓ Advanced knowledge if full accounting cycle including adjustments.
✓ Extensive Tax knowledge.
✓ Perfectly fluent in French and English.
✓ Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
✓ Advances Knowledge of CaseWare/CaseView, Taxprep, and DtMax
