Your missions

Hi, I'm Christina, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant with Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions.

I'm looking for a Controller for my client located downtown Montreal. This is a contract position (12 months) in hybrid mode, 3 days remote and 2 days on-site.

Your Responsabilities:
- Supervise the financial administration of companies in different countries
- Review the month-end process
- Manage cash flow of all companies across all countries
- Responsible for accounts receivables collection process
- Approve payments of supplier invoices
- Preparation of financial reports and variances
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation
- Approve adjusting entries
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts of expenses
- Sales tax filing for all countries (GST/QST/HST, VAT, US sales taxes)
- Implement process improvements and control systems
- Preparation of monthly accounts receivable summary
- Preparation of business insurance renewal documentation
- Coordination of audits
- Assist with submission of claims for various programs and government grants
- Assist with transfer pricing calculations and analysis
- Preparation of bank related documents

Your profile

Your Profile:
- CPA, or equivalent experience
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
- Experience developing and implementing systems, processes and procedures
