the marketing agency is currently looking for a Controller -
based in the heart of downtown Montreal in permanent position.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Ensure the smooth running of the entire accounting cycle;
* Preparation of monthly financial statements;
* Preparation of the end of year file;
* Monitor budgets and margins by project;
* Preparation and updating of management reports;
* Perform government reports (GST / QST);
* Perform bank reconciliation (weekly);
* Support the team in the accounting system (SAP);
* Assist the operations team in various administrative tasks;
* Assist the Director of Finance on special projects.
Qualities and skills required:
* Hold a Technique, a DEP or an AEC in administration;
* Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
* Agency experience (an asset)
* Bilingual, both oral and written (required)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work within deadlines and adapt to changes
* Good knowledge of SAP (an asset)
* Be comfortable in an office environment, open concept
* Be autonomous and detail-oriented
