Your missions

Here is the informations :
Set up, document and improve processes based on best practices
Coordinate the preparation and monitor the KPIs with the team
Review and approve all new requests to open accounts and lines of credit in accordance with company policies
Review all accounts on a regular basis, including credit limit, payment terms and payment history, using analytical tools such as D&B, Customer Master profiles
Review credit memo requests and debit memos made by representatives and customer service, and make recommendations as necessary
Increase customer knowledge, work with the sales department, customer service and product management
Respond to spontaneous requests from various departments such as customer service, sales force and finance / accounting as needed
Work closely with sales departments to resolve issues at the source.
Communicate with clients during credit assessment for special projects or contracts and various issues
Ensure that customer orders held in the system for credit are released after verification
Prepare and analyze the various end-of-month reports and present to the finance director
Participate and collaborate in various Oracle improvement projects for his department
Follow up on IT requests and problems related to credit and S&D claims in collaboration with the customer claims and agreements supervisor
Supervise the credit and ship & debit claims team and perform all tasks related to the management of a team

Your profile

Bachelor's degree in accounting / commerce or other related field
Certification from the credit institute an asset
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit management
Minimum 2 years supervising staff
Project management skills
Advanced and in-depth knowledge of Excel applications and computerized accounting systems (accounts receivable, credit and bookkeeping)
Good knowledge of laws, legal codes and government regulations (insurance, bankruptcy laws, regulations, policies and procedures)
Ability to read and analyze basic financial information as well as budget information and financial statements
Interpersonal skills, use logic and reasoning in order to identify solutions
Demonstrated ability to negotiate, make good decisions and solve problems
Possess strong communication skills (written and oral)
Demonstrated ability to work in harmony within a team as well as independently
Have good judgment and be able to prioritize
