Your missions

We are looking for our client, a private company in the residential sector, a Financial Accounting Technician, who will be part of the Finance & Administration team, whose main responsibilities are to diligently and rigorously oversee transaction processing, as well as the preparation of audit files for various sociaties.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be notably in charge of:

o Entering and monitoring accounting operations during the year.
o Carrying out regular analysis of balance sheet items and results and obtain and append
the supporting documents required.
o Participating in the preparation of interim financial statements.
o Preparing the audit files of the companies under its control.
o Preparing bank reconciliations for the main companies
o Following up on rent and other commercial income files
o Providing support for GST / QST rebates
o Providing support to the payables department for the codification of invoices
o Providing support for the preparation of construction payroll
o Recording the appropriate accounting entries
o Updating of accounting documents in Word and Excel
o Preparing and sending correspondence by mail, fax, email or other courier when required

Your profile

Do you think this job is for you? It just might be the case if you have:

o Holder of at least an AEC in accounting, you have more than 5 years of experience
o Knowledge of HOPEM software (an asset)
o Experience in preparing audit files
o Be comfortable with the following MS Office software
