Our client is currently looking for a motivated person to fill the position of Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Financial Information Manager, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing various financial statements, in addition to analyzing the organization's financial information.
Prepare consolidation entries for consolidated results for our various business units;
Analyze the performance of our different business units and collaborate with the different departments to understand the performance of the business units;
Contribute to the documentation for the board of directors;
Prepare various reports for various departments according to established deadlines;
Act as the first point of contact for all questions relating to the accounting of the different departments.
Contribute to the maintenance of the consolidation system (Solver BI360);
Create and improve various reports for internal services according to their needs using the Solver BI360 tool.
Analyze the monthly financial performance of a regional sector;
Prepare monthly adjustment journal entries when necessary;
Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes by documenting them and suggesting improvements.
Continuous process improvement process;
Good ability to work effectively and independently;
Accounting skills and knowledge of ASPE;
Previous experience in consolidation or audit (an asset);
Experience in a multi-company work environment;
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision (an asset);
Knowledge of Solver BI360 (an asset);
Thoroughness and organization;
Good team spirit and lots of people;
Bilingual, fluent in both English and French (written and oral).
