Your missions
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Accurately prepare, process, and validate all payroll information for the various Canadian entities on a biweekly basis.
Guide, train, develop and support the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator in her daily activities.
Ensure the complete administration of employee benefits programs and group insurance plans.
Ensure the complete month-end and year-end process, audits, and special projects.
Ensure the accuracy of the payroll system platform (ADP) and the audit of employee data.
Provide the necessary support in solving any payroll-related problem.
Participate in the establishment of new entities during new acquisitions.
Respond to payroll inquiries and questions.
Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting on payroll and payroll system issues impacting these functions (GL, benefits configuration).
Any other related task.
Your profile
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience with benefits.
Experience with month-end reporting and year-end processes.
Experience with ADP, an asset.
Experience with the implementation of new payroll entities, an asset.
Knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and provincial regulations.
MS Office - advanced level in Excel.
Perfectly bilingual in writing and speaking.
