Your missions

We are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Technician for our client in the audiovisual field.

Reporting to the Compensation, Payroll and HRIS Director, the incumbent will be part of the human resources. He will be responsible for participating in the payroll process,
follow-up of the social benefits and he will offer an administrative support for the HR activities of the department.


 Participate in the production and processing of bi-weekly Canadian and US payroll;
 Support the payroll and benefits supervisor on the data integrity of the various systems
of the company with data related to human resources;
 Provides customer service for aspects related to group insurance, 401K and others
social advantages;
 Participate in the management of hires, terminations and any changes to the status of
 Participate in the management of the group insurance component: memberships, terminations, modifications and
global verification;
 Participate in the management of periodic payments and quarterly / annual reports
 Follow up on absences and annual vacation reports;
 Participate in various analyzes and other payroll related projects;
 Provides the necessary support to HRIS users;
 Assists the human resources team in various development projects;
 Performs general administrative tasks (filing, mailing, etc.).

Your profile

Academic training :
 Professional or college studies diploma in administration or accounting or any other
relevant training;
 FPC or CPP certification

Experience :
 Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.

Specific requirements :
 Experience in processing a complex payroll with a large volume of exceptions;
 Proficiency in payroll software (DLGL VIP or other);
 Advanced mastery of the Microsoft Office suite;
 Knowledge of Canadian labor laws and standards;
 Ability to carry out research and demonstrate an analytical mind;
 Rigor and attention to detail;
 High level of customer service;
 Show a high level of discretion and confidentiality;
 Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a context of tight deadlines;
 Ability to adapt and interest in being part of a growing organization.
 Experience with an integrated human resources management system is an important asset;
 Payroll experience and knowledge of US laws is an asset
 Fluency in both official languages ​​both orally and in writing
