Our client, a multinational firm located in Downtown Montreal, is looking for a Payroll and HR Specialist

Your missions

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the position holder is responsible for general
HR support to our employees as well as administrative support to the HR team. The
incumbent will also contribute to various HR projects and work closely with the HR team
in process improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

 Collect, manage and update all data pertaining to company's employees and
coordinate with appropriate departments or service providers;
 Process and maintain time and attendance records for all employees;
 Oversee preparation and administration of payroll for all company employees,
while auditing payroll processing reports for accuracy;
 Ensure that all salaries are paid accurately and in a timely fashion to all company
 Prepare journal entries and forms, such as records of employment, income tax
forms, and remittances;
 Coordinate all payroll related services to ensure the effective delivery of the
following services: administration of new hires, transfers/promotions,
terminations, garnishments, etc…;
 Coordinate employee onboarding process;
 Manage various HR & payroll data for reporting purposes;
 Support VP HR in budget management

Your profile

 3 to 5 years of professional experience in similar position;
 Post-secondary education in related discipline;
 Advanced knowledge of Workforce Now (ADP): HR & payroll modules
 Excellent clerical and computer skills (advanced MS Excel), SAP knowledge an
 Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize;
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and French
