Your missions

We are looking for our client in the audiovisual industry a Payroll Technician.
Reporting to the Compensation, Payroll and HRIS Director, the incumbent will be part of the human resources. He will be responsible for participating in the payroll process,
follow-up of the social benefits and he will offer an administrative support for the HR activities of the department.


 Participe à la production et au traitement de la paie bihebdomadaire canadienne et US;
 Supporte la superviseure paie et avantages sociaux sur l'intégrité des données des divers systèmes
de l'entreprise ayant des données liées aux ressources humaines;
 Assure le service à la clientèle pour les aspects reliés à l'assurance collective, au 401K et autres
avantages sociaux;
 Participe à la gestion des embauches, des terminaisons et tout changements au statut des
employés ;
 Participe à la gestion du volet d'assurances collectives : adhésions, terminaisons, modifications et
vérification globale ;
 Participe à la gestion des paiements périodiques et aux rapports trimestriels/annuels
 Effectue le suivi des rapports d'absences et des vacances annuelles;
 Participe à diverses analyses et autres projets reliés à paie;
 Apporte le soutien nécessaire aux usagers du SIRH;
 Assiste l'équipe des ressources humaines dans divers projets de développement;
 Effectue des tâches administratives générales (classements, envoi postale, etc.).

Your profile

Academic training :
 Professional or college studies diploma in administration or accounting or any other
relevant training;
 FPC or CPP certification

Experience :
 Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
Specific requirements :
 Experience in processing a complex payroll with a large volume of exceptions;
 Proficiency in payroll software (DLGL VIP or other);
 Advanced mastery of the Microsoft Office suite;
 Knowledge of Canadian labor laws and standards;
 Ability to carry out research and demonstrate an analytical mind;
 Rigor and attention to detail;
 High level of customer service;
 Show a high level of discretion and confidentiality;
 Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a context of tight deadlines;
 Ability to adapt and interest in being part of a growing organization.
 Experience with an integrated human resources management system is an important asset;
 Payroll experience and knowledge of US laws is an asset
 Fluency in both official languages ​​both orally and in writing;
