Your missions

* Perform the complete payroll cycle for ± 100 employees (bimonthly payroll, non-unionized);
* Perform and ensure data entry relating to employee files (hiring,
termination, miscellaneous changes, etc.);
* Be the guarantor of the payroll software (updates, data concerning the
employees, etc.);
* Explain discrepancies between actual salaries and those budgeted or any discrepancies detected in payroll;
* Be the main contact to answer questions from employees
concerning payroll and related subjects (insurance, absence counters,
access to HR platforms, etc.);
* Carry out the end of the fiscal year in payroll (T4A, T4, Relevé 1);
* Help with the end of the fiscal year (Summary 1, etc.);
* Respond to various government requests;
* Administer group insurance (registration, deregistration, follow-up of
invoices, etc.);
* Manage the administration for employees under contract (edition of contracts,
amendments, point of contact for managers, et

Your profile

*+ 3 years of payroll experience;
* DEP/DEC in administrative techniques, payroll or any other training
* Being a member of the Canadian Payroll Association (an asset);
* Knowledge of the Desjardins Employer D payroll system (an asset);
* Excellent command of French, both oral and written;
* Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
* Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, in particular Excel;
* Good analytical mind, ability to manage stress and meet deadlines;
* Excellent communication and customer service skills;
* Demonstrate autonomy, versatility, attention to detail and initiative;
* Good team spirit and ease in interpersonal relationships
