Hi, I'm Christina, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant with Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

I'm looking for an Accountant with US payroll experience for my client in the Ouest of Montreal, in Pointe-Claire. This is a permanent, hybrid position (3 days of remote work).
Responsibilities:
The Accountant will collaborate with Human Resources, payroll and finance teams on payroll-
related matters but will not be involve in payroll processing. The role will be responsible for various
reconciliations, internal recharges, and other related and non-related accounting activities.
Tasks:
- Assist with the management of US group benefit plans including reconciliation of employee deductions and employer contributions.
- Prepare and process intercompany recharges and related journal entries.
- Review and approve US and Canada payroll account reconciliations.
- Month-end closing responsibilities in other areas of accounting outside of payroll.
Your profile
Profile:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of ADP Work Force Now and GL interface is an asset.
