Your missions

Act as a resource person for all matters concerning payroll processing and benefits
Coordinate all activities related to the production of payroll and the management of the processing of social benefits according to internal policies and applicable laws
Issue and verify employment records as well as participate in the production of tax statements
Perform all remittance and third party payment activities, including governments
Manage employee files related to fringe benefits, the group insurance plan and VRSP
Identify potential payroll issues and implement innovative solutions to improve internal processes
Execute the processing of payrolls and source deductions of our companies for all employees
In collaboration with the HR department, check the forms and documents necessary for the administration of plans such as the CNESST, unemployment insurance and group insurance and the declarations of working conditions (federal / provincial)
In collaboration with the HR department, ensure the monitoring and compliance with the various laws affecting the management of salaries (labor standards, taxes, etc.) and the management of Law 90 (compilation of training courses)
Participate in the end of the fiscal year and in the production of year-end reports

Your profile

Hold or in the process of obtaining certification from the Canadian Payroll Association
College training in administration or accounting
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in payroll
Knowledge of the Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, MS Teams, etc.)
Knowledge of the Nethris Internet Suite payroll system, an asset
Knowledge of the Agendrix electronic punch system, an asset
Basic knowledge of Canadian compensation laws and regulations including but not limited to labor standards
Ability to analyze and synthesize
Gifted for interpersonal communication
Autonomy and problem-solving skills
Well organized person with rigor, thoroughness and absolute discretion
Openness to change and ability to adapt
