Your missions

Hello, I am Jinane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company located on the East end of Montreal, for an Fixed Asset analyst. This is a permanent position on site.

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for performing accounting operations and analyses related to the Group's fixed assets projects.
Code fixed assets and calculating depreciation for all entities of the company.
Provide support to internal clients and act as a super user in our D365 Finance and Operations accounting system for the fixed assets module.
Ensure the follow-up of the financial management of construction projects.
Responsible for maintaining the continuity schedule of fixed assets as well as the assignment of tax class to new acquisitions.
Participate in the development of annual acquisition budgets across the group.
Participate in all process improvement projects in capital assets.

Your profile

Think this job is for you? It might be the case if you have:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting and/or finance
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite
Very good knowledge of the accounting cycle and principles
Knowledge of Maximo (IBM) and D365 (an asset)
Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and thoroughness; autonomy and sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, planning and organizational skills.
Knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
